Known most recently for touring with Nelly Furtado, Dave currently
resides in Toronto where he teaches and maintains a constant performance schedule locally.
He attended the Berklee College of Music, studying with Victor Mendoza, John Ramsey, Skip Hadden and Ed Kaspick, and in 1993 following his studies, he moved to Halifax and broke into the scene with such artists as: Dutch Mason, Brett Ryan and Wayne Nicholson. 5 years Later, Dave found himself living in Toronto performing with the likes of: Sass Jordan, Alannah Myles, The Kings, Rik Emmett and Grammy award-winning pop star: Nelly Furtado. While being on the road with Nelly, Dave has also performed with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. He has had numerous television appearances worldwide, including Jay Leno, David Letterman, Regis & Kelly, Much Music, MTV, The View, Carson Daly, Extra and Concert for Diana and was featured at the Montreal Drum Festival 2004 and 2007. He has also appeared in articles in Drums Etc. (Cover Story), Modern Drummer and DRUM! Magazine. He is an active player, educator and clinician. |
